White Bean Tapenade

I like white beans, I was curious to find something else to do with them. I’m not actually sure what a tapenade is, I think it’s a fancy word for “something you put on bread.” It’s a nice little appetizer.

Indredients

1 15 oz can cannellini beans, drained, rinsed, and roughly chopped

1/2 cup pitted mixed olives, roughly chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 lemon, zested and juiced

1 bunch parsley, minced to within an inch of it’s life

salt to taste

Directions

Mix it all up and let it sit for half an hour to let the flavors meld
